Arlington Energy has successfully transacted on an initial 38MW battery storage portfolio which was developed by Arlington and then financed into a long-term structure whereby Arlington will remain as asset manager. The transaction is set to extend initially to 110MW across four sites all located in the UK. The first two projects have been put into construction with Q4 target commissioning dates.
This transaction demonstrates the benefits of managing development and construction under one roof, and the importance of understanding the long-term strategy for the asset to incorporate into initial design.
