Arlington Energy are very pleased to say our Cofounder and Director, Matt Clare, has been recognised in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list 2019. It was the fourth annual edition of Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe and featured 300 young “disruptors, visionaries and rising stars… who are transforming industries and setting a new agenda “. Winners represented 56 different countries, in sectors from entertainment to finance, manufacturing & industry to sports & games, to name a few.
Alex Wood, Europe Editor at Forbes, explained that they have scoured Europe “to identify 300 of the most revolutionary entrepreneurs, innovators and disruptors in ten diverse sectors, who are changing the game throughout the region and across the globe.”
Arlington are extremely happy to have Matt identified within Manufacturing & Industry (of which Energy is a subcategory), alongside some very impressive innovators and trailblazers, who are set to implement real change and are “putting a new twist on what it means to be a leader for the next generation”. He was credited for setting up our investment firm focused on building a portfolio of low-carbon energy assets.
On receiving the accolade, Matt said, “I feel honoured to be named among so many talented creators and bold pioneers – it is exciting for Arlington, and the clean energy sector as a whole, as it becomes more important to find unique ways in which to finance distributed energy assets.”
