Richard qualified with PwC in 2002 working in the Technology, Energy and Extractive sectors, before cutting his teeth in industry at Anglo American plc, IBM and Close Asset Management. Since 2009 Richard has worked as an FD in SME’s, Start-ups and MBOs covering a wide range of sectors including BioTech, Financial Services, Media and Technology assisting the Boards of growth companies to overcome the financial, commercial and strategic challenges they have faced.
In 2016 Richard founded Enthalpy Partners acquiring a portfolio of fractional CFO roles assisting with fund raising and the establishment of high calibre finance functions. Arlington started as a client and Richard needed no persuading to join the founder team in 2018 helping to deliver the ambitious growth plans of the group.
