Role Description
The candidate will join the development team, reporting to the Head of Development, and will also work closely with both construction and commercial teams. The development team work dynamically to source sites, appraising new development opportunities as well as acquiring externally developed sites, with the end goal of optimal operational trading at the forefront of development from the outset. The candidate will be involved in every stage of the development, from reviewing titles to aiding new site selection, discussing Heads of Agreement with landowners, managing Option and Lease negotiations through appointed solicitors and approving legal reports on title that external solicitors provide. The candidate will also be involved in review both Share and Asset Purchase Agreements, interacting with lenders to ensure fully transparent, swift and successful transactions.
Duties and responsibilities will be subject to experience, and Arlington will provide support to the candidate to ensure they are appropriately challenged by their work. The candidate should demonstrate strong organisational skills including the ability to multi-task, prioritise work under pressure, working to deadlines in an adaptable environment. Remote working up to 3 days a week would be considered following successful completion of the probationary period.
